Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Solostack is committed to making the Site accessible and to improving it over time. We treat accessibility as part of quality, not an extra.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, so we cannot claim full conformance. This statement reflects our own testing and design choices, and we will update it when an audit is completed.

What we have done

• Structure: semantic headings, landmarks (header, main, navigation, footer), lists and real tables so screen readers can navigate.
• Keyboard: every link, button, menu and form control can be used without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Reading and layout: the layout adapts from small phones to large desktops, text can be enlarged without loss of content, and tables scroll instead of breaking the page.
• Colour and contrast: we use a light and a dark theme that follow your device setting, and we choose text and background colours with strong contrast.
• Images: every image has a text alternative. Charts include a title, labelled values and a written explanation next to them.
• Motion: animations are minimal, and we respect the “reduce motion” setting of your device.
• Touch: buttons and menu items are large enough to tap comfortably, and form fields use a text size that stops mobile browsers from zooming in unexpectedly.
• Consent controls: the privacy preferences dialog can be operated by keyboard and closed with the Escape key.

Known limitations

• The text alternative for article images is generally the article title. It identifies the guide but does not describe the illustration in detail.
• Some charts show values as bars with visible numbers. They are not exposed as data tables, although the numbers and their meaning are stated in the text.
• Advertising, if enabled, is supplied by third parties and is outside our direct control.
• Some pages contain long tables that need horizontal scrolling on small screens.
• We have not tested with every combination of browser and assistive technology.

We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix or offer a workaround as quickly as we reasonably can.
