How the Site earns money

Affiliate commissions: at the date of this page the Site contains no affiliate links and we earn no commissions from products we mention.
Sponsored content: we do not publish paid or sponsored articles, and we do not sell reviews or placements.

Ads are chosen by our advertising network and its partners, not by us. They are shown in areas that are clearly separate from the guide text, and we do not write our guides to attract particular advertisers. We do not endorse the products or services in any ad, and an ad does not mean we have tested, reviewed or approved it. We never ask you to click on ads, and clicking ads to help us is against advertising network rules and may harm us.

Affiliate links

If we add affiliate links in future, we will (1) put a clear, plain-language notice next to each such link, not only on this page, (2) mark the links in the page code as sponsored, (3) update this page, and (4) keep our recommendations independent of any commission.

Editorial independence

Advertisers and affiliate partners cannot pay for a mention, a ranking, a favourable comparison or a change to a guide.
We do not accept free products, services or payments in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, we will disclose it in the guide.
We do not publish “best of” rankings unless we can explain and support the method behind them.
